The funny part about this situation is when he tells them that they aren’t prisoners of war but, instead, they are unpaid interns. He makes them build a giant statue of him and plans to kill them all when it’s finished. In All Hail King Julien: Exiled, Koto rules over the Lemurs with an iron fist. ![]() This led to the events of All Hail King Julien: Exiled, which is my favourite season. He came back sometime later and convinced King Julien to let him into the kingdom’s newly built walls and when he did, Koto summoned his army and took over the kingdom. He even let Koto stay for a few days, which turned out to be a big mistake – because Koto was the evil king of the mountain lemurs. King Julien (naively) believes Koto to be a friend and shows him around the kingdom. Towards the end of Season 4, King Julien meets and befriends a Mountain Lemur warrior named Koto. The first few episodes of Season 3 pick up from the end of Season 2, with King Julien being found/rescued (Spoiler Alert: The story includes pirates), and coming back to save the day. Both seasons have some nice songs though. Both of these Seasons, for the most part, had relatively unmemorable episodes ( In my opinion). Season 3 and Season 4 both have a few memorable episodes and introduce 3 important characters – 2 of them being King Julien’s parents. The characters introduced in this season include King Julien’s old friend Rob McTodd, and Clover’s evil sister Crimson. Season 2 introduces more characters, has an amazing song, and also contains some of my favourite episodes in the show. Season 1 also introduces other characters that play a major part in the show, like the royal psychic advisor Masikura, King Julien’s “nemesis” Karl, a weird-but-cool mountain lemur called Sage who’s always talking in inspirational poster quotes, and King Julien’s royal “Scizard” Timo. I’m not going to tell you the whole story, because I find it too fun(ny) to spoil. His uncle set him up to die from a Fossa attack. The Season starts with the story of how Julien became king. We also get to see the lemur Kingdom in a level of detail that wasn’t in the Madagascar movies. This season is where we first meet King Julien, Clover, Maurice, Mort and the other lemurs up close. Season 1 serves to introduce the characters and the setting. The show consists of 6 seasons in the order of Seasons 1-4, All Hail King Julien: Exiled (which Netflix lists as a separate show, for some reason) and Season 5. It deserves as much attention as it can get, so Dreamworks can see that people liked it and make more shows like this. ![]() ![]() The reason for me bringing this up (and writing this blog, to begin with) is that I wanted to talk about the show and why I like it so much. Only 53 fan fictions Only 58 members on the Subreddit 1.7K members on the Fanboy and Chum Chum subreddit 171 Fanboy and Chum Chum fan fictions This is really surprising because the show won seven Emmy awards. The All Hail King Julien subreddit only has 58 members, as opposed to Fanboy and Chum chum, which has over 137 fan fiction, and 1.7 thousand members in the subreddit. Let me give you an idea of just how unpopular it is. It makes me very upset that a show as good as this one has less popularity than Jake and Logan Paul. The reason it made me lose faith in humanity is because of how underrated it is. It’s a spinoff of the Madagascar movies, and a Netflix Original show starring King Julien and his friends/advisors/surrogate family Clover, Maurice and Mort. The show I was referring to in the title is All Hail King Julien. I’d like to start by apologising for that kinda clickbait-y title.
